Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: “A group of my Ummah will remain upon the truth, victorious, unharmed by those who betray them, until Allāh’s Command comes while they are as such.” Reported by al-Bukhārī (7311) and Muslim (1920). Imām Aḥmad said: “If they are not the Ahl al-Ḥadīth, then I do not know who they are.” Maʿrifah ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth (pg. 3).

It was realised under the visionary mentorship of our revered Shaykh and father, Waṣiullah ʿAbbās, finding its origins in the city of Leicester, which is also Shaykh Zulfiker's hometown. Our ongoing efforts are driven by the objective of reviving Markaz al-Sunnah in line with the profound vision of Shaykh Waṣīullāh and Shaykh Zulfiker, and we earnestly implore Allāh for His guidance and acceptance in this noble endeavour. We are steadfast in our aspiration that Markaz al-Sunnah will emerge as a distinguished centre dedicated to imparting and propagating the daʿwah of the Ahl al-Ḥadīth, rooted in the principle of al-Wasaṭīyyah (the moderate path, i.e. the way of Ahl al-Sunnah) and following the Qurʾān and Sunnah as per the understanding of al-Salaf al-Ṣāliḥ (the righteous predecessors).

وَعَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ: إِنَّ هَذَا الْعِلْمَ دِينٌ فَانْظُرُوا عَمَّنْ تَأْخُذُونَ دِينَكُمْ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
Imām Muḥammad Ibn Sīrīn رحمه الله said:
“Verily, this knowledge is dīn. So look into whom you take your dīn from.”
